Finally a TOWIE wedding (sort of)! Cast and family members help Carol and Big Mark Wright renew their vows... but Mark Jnr is nowhere to be seen

In the eight series of TOWIE viewers have witnessed three engagements – with not one wedding materialising.
But finally as the ninth series comes to an end the cast can finally enjoy a wedding of sorts, as Carol and Mark Wright renew their wedding vows.
And keen to see someone actually make it down the aisle the cast came out in force for the couple’s second big day as did their family, all apart from Mark Wright who instead was working in Australia.

However  Carol, who enjoyed a riotous hen-do on the last episode of the show, was no doubt happy enough to be surrounded by the rest of her family including TOWIE star Jessica, her daughter Natalya and her footballer son Josh.
Mark, who left the show not long after his engagement to Lauren Goodger fell apart, is currently Down Under working on a new TV show.
Dressed in strapless cream dress Carol looked stunning as she made her way down the aisle accompanied by her mother Nanny Pat.

The mother and daughter could not stop grinning as they walked to meet Big Mark who was waiting at the make-shift altar set in the stunning grounds.
Once the couple had renewed their vows Carol  was seen with a white owl, although it was unclear exactly why as it is usually doves which are released on such occasions.
Meanwhile sitting in the white chairs watching the ceremony was the cast of the show, who not surprisingly had pulled out all the stops in terms of their outfits.

Daughter of the bride Jessica, who has been struggling to deal with heartache recently, looked beautiful and demure in an off cream floor length dress.
Her dark brown hair was pulled off her face in a stylish up-do, showing off her stunning drop earrings.
Unfortunately it seems her day may have been slightly spoiled by what seemed to be an argument with Ricky Rayment.

Her co-star, who admitted to cheating on her, seemed to be pleading with her about something but she walked off leaving him in tears.
However she did get a chance to perform following the ceremony and was spotted singing into a microphone, while a cellist played behind her.
Meanwhile the female cast members pulled out all the stops with a variety of gorgeous gowns and remarkably all of them managed to keep it classy.

Lucy Mecklenburgh turned heads in a full-length pale pink lacy number with her hair off her face in a stunning chignon.
Sisters Billie and Sam Faiers wore bright colours with Billie bringing the sex appeal in her red gown.
Frankie Essex couldn’t resist showing off her cleavage and wore a very low-cut dress, which was perhaps not the most suitable outfit for a wedding.
Making up: Carol and Mark didn't seem to upset with Ricky as they stood talking to him

The male cast members let the side down somewhat, wearing a variety of fashion fails.
Joey Essex, who is known for his love of whacky dressing, wore a pair of check trousers which were too short teamed with a matching waistcoat and bow-tie.
His mate James Argent took some of the attention away from him though wearing a jumper with a hole in the stomach area which revealed his pink shirt pulling across his chest.
Unimpressed: Mario seemed unimpressed as Arg chatted away to him before the ceremony

Bobby Norris and Charlie King seemed to miss the dress code and turned up wearing shorts and T-shirts.
The final episode of the series and the vow renewal airs on Wednesday 10th July on ITV2.
