- 7ft tall Alfonso 'Big Church' Redic is the 31st kingpin of Floyd's security
- Mayweather needed his four-man team to protect him on Mayfair street
Undefeated
world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has one of the world's most
powerful punches - but still needed giant bodyguards to protect him on a
genteel London street.
The
heavyweight team guarding the 5ft 8ins millionaire – and his £400,000
diamond-encrusted watch - in Mayfair yesterday included the 7ft tall
Alfonso 'Big Church' Redic - the 31st kingpin of his security detail.
The
four-man squad walked along Mount Street in central London with
Mayweather as he made his way from one designer flagship store to
another - and helped carry his shopping.
Later
the £300milllion boxing star’s security was bolstered by more men and
he was swept away in a convoy of three black limousines.

Squad goals!?
Floyd Mayweather's burly bodyguards towered over the super-rich boxing
champion as he indulged in a luxury shopping spree in London on Tuesday
Mayweather,
38, proved himself a true believer of the mantra, 'if you've got it
flaunt it' as he sported the eye-wateringly expensive jewellery on his
left wrist.
He
understandably wore the prized possession with pride, deliberately
rolling up his jumper sleeve to ensure it was fully visible.
The
Michigan-born sports star also ensured to make a statement when it came
to his sartorial choices and he rocked a unique - and no doubt high-end
designer - hooded jumper which was emblazoned with a quirky face motif.
He teamed the bold piece with a pair of everyday blue jeans and some black and yellow Nike trainers.
Not WATCHing his wallet: Mayweather showed off a watch worth £400k as he shopped in London's luxury boutique district
Wearing his earnings on his sleeve:
The bedazzling wrist accessory took pride of his place as he rolled up
his sleeve to ensure it was fully visible while shopping on Mayfair's
Mount Street
Alright for some: The watch - worth
just under half a million British pounds - boasted a diamond-trimmed
face and a red leather strap
Mayweather
was seen nipping in and out a string of luxury stores which he had the
pleasure of browsing in private as staff barred any other customers from
entering.
He
visited the Christian Louboutin flagship from which one male member of
his team exited with no less than five bags filled with the famed
designer's red-soled shoes.
The
boxing champion then hot-footed it to Balmain with six male companions
and three females prioritising his safety at all times.
Mayweather
was seemingly feeling equally spendy inside the French label's London
store as he showed off his buys on Twitter later in the day.
He
appeared to have bought much of the shop's stock as he shared a photo
showing nine bags filled to the brim with brand-new designer goodies.
The super-rich champ played down his spending spree by captioning the picture: 'Did a little shopping today.'
Safety in numbers: Mayweather, 38, was accompanied by nine members of his entourage - six males and three females
Bags of
cash: One member of his team was seen exiting Christian Louboutin with
stacks of carrier bags filled with the famed designer's red-soled shoes
Making a statement: The undefeated
retired boxer stepped out in a bold hooded jumper, a pair of everyday
jeans and black and yellow Nike trainers
Where to next? He chatted with his hooded squad as they deliberated their next move on the wonderful retail tour
'Did a little shopping': He boasted on Twitter, showing off his many Balmain bags
The social-media post depicted Mayweather standing against the shop front.
He had his hands in his pockets with one leg bent up and resting on the wall in front of the Balmain sign.
Mayweather's
shopping bags were displayed all around him and his nonchalant attitude
to his super-expensive spree certainly entertained his followers.
'Did
he say a little shopping?,' one commented while another remarked: 'You
could pay all my college with one of thoes bags lmao.'
We got you: His team watched his back as they ensured he was able to shop without interruption
Can never have too many cars: Three
blacked-out people carriers were parked outside the store and were
guarded by his security men
