As a reality television personality appearance is everything.

And Kim Kardashian made sure she was looking her best for Christmas by visiting a posh hair salon in Beverly Hills on Saturday.
The 33-year-old was looking rather stern as she marched towards the top class barber, no doubt frustrated with the mess of over treated hair she had piled up into a top knot.

However she was a woman transformed after her cut and blow dry, and no doubt her fiance Kanye West will think it is the perfect early Christmas present.
The reality star had flown in this week from Chicago where she supported the singer by visiting him on his Yeezus tour.
But when the famously curvy new mother stepped out of the plane with her hair styled in a just-got-out-of-bed fashion she surely realised it was time for the star to make a grooming appointment.
Dressed in her all-black gym outfit, Kim showed off her succulent figure, which is near to its best despite her giving birth to her first child North West in June.

After North's birth, Kim embarked on a strict diet and weight loss regime and has continued to eat healthily, but admits she still has a soft spot for her favourite sweet treat.

Kim suffered from the condition preeclampsia while pregnant, which caused her body to swell, and made it a difficult time.
She wrote: 'When i was pregnant it was hard. my face shape changed, my body changed and nothing in the tabloids were going to be nice. It was a negtive time (sic)'.

Kim also shared her feelings about becoming a mother and how it has had an incredible effect on her, adding: 'It completely changed my life. You have a different set of proprieties. Nothing matters except your brand new family. [I love] being a mommy, and tour life with daddy, these days are the best (sic)'
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star also gave some advice to new mothers, saying they all deserve to be pampered.
She said: 'Never lose time for u. go to the gym, get a facial, or manicure to feel good so u can go home and be a good happy mom at home (sic)'.
Meanwhile on Friday, Kim and Kanye were spotted in Calabasas, checking out Kanye's cameo in the new Anchorman film.
Kim told a TMZ reporter that Kanye was 'really good' in the movie as they made their way out of the cinema.
