A GROOM aged 86 arrived at church to get married — in a hearse.

Pals laid on the funeral car as a joke for biker Colin Moore because he and bride Margaret Bevan, 81, had left it so late in life.
The pair got engaged 21 years ago, soon after they first got together.
Divorced Colin finally suggested they fix a date a few weeks ago, over a bowl of porridge.
Former shop assistant Margaret — who had never been wed — said: “We were having breakfast and he said, ‘I think we should get married’.
“I wondered what he was on about, so I said, ‘Did I hear right?’ He said, ‘Yes’.”
Colin, a retired salesman from Plymouth, added: “I wanted to get married from the start but Margaret always had the idea ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’.
“I thought the time was right now — and she agreed. It’s not like I’m going to live until 120.
“Now I’ve finally got another ring on her finger, 21 years after the first one.”
The couple wed at St Mary the Virgin Church, Bickleigh, with Margaret in a cream dress and Colin in a navy blazer.
They held a reception at their bungalow, Sod Hall.
Colin said: “It’s called Sod Hall because we had to scrape every penny together to buy it.”
The couple asked wedding guests to make donations to Macmillan Cancer Support instead of buying presents.
They decided against a honeymoon. Colin said: “The last 21 years have been a holiday together.”
