The Papa Don’t Preach singer checked Mercy’s hair as they shared a desk with her other eight-year-old, David Banda.
The trio — along with Madge’s elder kids Lourdes, 16, and Rocco, 12 were surrounded by beaming pupils at Mkoko Primary School in Kasungu yesterday.

The 54-year-old pop queen inspected buildings funded by her charity Raising Malawi on a trip to the African nation where adopted David and Mercy were born.
David looked fed-up to be at school on hols. Maybe he thinks if you enjoy that, you do need your head examined.
