Emirates Offers Extra Baggage Allowance to Tanzanian Travellers

EMIRATES, a global connector of people and places, is offering its Economy Class customers in Tanzania an additional baggage allowance of up to 20kgs, over and above the normal 30kgs, for travel to selected destinations around the world.

Select from a number of destinations in India and the Far East such as Ahmedabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Guangzhou and Shanghai to enjoy a 20kg allowance - over and above the existing 30kg limit - for travel booked and starting in Tanzania.

For those travelling to European destinations such as Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Geneva, Munich, Paris, Rome, Stockholm and Zurich, an additional 10kg will be added to the existing 30kg allowance, for travel booked by the same period and issued in Tanzania.

This is a great way for individuals, traders, family members and friends to leverage the baggage allowance to enhance their leisure and business travel experience,” said Husain Alsafi, Emirates Country Manager for Tanzania.

The baggage allowance extension offer is valid for all travel that originates from Tanzania, is booked by 16th July 2015 and takes place before 1st December 2015.

When travelling on Emirates, all customers experience the airline’s award-winning ice entertainment system with hundreds of channels of on-demand audio and visual entertainment, gourmet cuisine and the world famous hospitality and service from its multi-national cabin crew. Business Class customers enjoy 40 kg of baggage allowance and Economy Class customers get 30 kg.
