The X-tra cute Factor! Simon Cowell adds two new puppies to his rapidly expanding family

He has the girlfriend, the baby-to-be and now Simon Cowell has added to his ever-expanding family by revealing his two new bundles of joy - puppies Squiddly and Diddly.
Simon posted a photo of the newest additions to the Cowell clan, dressed in cute matching outfits on his Twitter account, pointing out that Squiddly is the girl and Diddly is the boy.
Three hours later he wrote: 'It was Lauren my girlfriend who chose the outfits. Everyone is saying different Laurens'. Straight after he added that he has great plans for the two new additions to the Cowell family.

And they call it Puppy love! Simon Cowell's new dogs peek out adorably from his bed
'I am setting up a Squiddly Diddly twitter account', he wrote about the two dogs he named after a 1960s cartoon series about a musical squid called Squiddly Diddly.
Apparently his new pooches are already proving to follow in their famous adopted father's footsteps.
'During one performance tonight one of my puppies run out of my bedroom and wouldn't come back until I turned the sound off,' he Tweeted to his over 8.5 million followers.
Getting a dog, or two puppies as is the case with Simon, is life-changing, according to talent show guru.
'And for anyone thinking of buying a dog. Do it,' he tweeted. 'They bring so much happiness into your life.'

Squiddly diddly! Via his Twitter account Simon attempts to clear up one of the great conundrums of modern times
Perhaps this is what Simon was alluding to when only hours earlier he had tweeted: 'Excited to reveal some news in the next few weeks. Am feeling very positive right now. It's been hard work but nothing shoud be too easy.'
Presumably that good news does not include getting Miley Cyrus's nemesis, Sinead O'Connor, on board The X Factor.
On October 8 Simon tweeted with his tongue firmly in his cheek: 'I think Sinead O'Conor would be a real fun guest judge on X Factor,' he joshed. 'She loves the show and everything I do. Let me know Sinead.'
Simon and Lauren
It's love sweet love! Looking like a couple madly in love Simon holds on to pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman's hand after lunching at The Ivy in Hollywood
Simon's current good cheer suggests he's finally gotten used to the idea, and liking it, of settling down to being a family man after years as a bachelor about town.
Yet only earlier this month there appeared to be trouble in paradise when his lap provided a makeshift seat for the shapely bottom of his former girlfriend, Terri Seymour.
Squiddly
If the name fits! The original Squiddly Diddly was a 1960s cartoon character who happened to be a musical squid. Perhaps he reminds Simon of his multi-faceted self
A lot can happen, however, in a matter of days. Soon after, an evidently loved up Simon Cowell and heavily pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman were making their way home following a romantic dinner date at West Hollywood eatery Cecconi’s.
Indeed, the couple were in a cheerful mood as they nestled into the back of their chauffeur driven car, with Lauren flashing a wide smile to suggest she had won her man back and pulled him back into line.

Lauren's chic Boy flap bag however is this season's take on that iconic classic. With its bulky feel and chunky silver chain detailing, this style is a stand-out shape and, like the original, will work with a whole host of looks. Available in a variety of metallic finishes, it features a quilted front flap with eye-catching silver hardware. What's more, if you're looking for more exotic and unique finishes, AW13'S new set of bags are available with embellished chains for an edgier vibe.
As expected this collection hold rather a hefty price tag, starting at around £2000 for a simple version. Luckily for us, the high street has cottoned onto our need for a budget friendly version and thrown up a whole host of great alternatives (below). We love Fiorelli's near match, the perfect substitute whilst you pray to the handbag gods for the genuine article.
