'I wore it better!' Funnyman Robin Williams weighs in on Kim Kardashian's floral horror by comparing her outfit to Mrs. Doubtfire

Funnyman Robin Williams has weighed in on Kim Kardashian's floral fashion choice at Monday's Met Ball - and he thinks he did better as cross dressing octogenarian nanny  Euphegenia Doubtfire.
More than a day after Kim blinded cameras with her all floral Givenchy look, Williams tweeted a photo of himself from his 1993 hit Mrs Doubtfire wearing a similar look along with the caption, 'I think I wore it better!'
His joke preceded the dress's designer defending the look as one of his best.

In Mrs Doubtfire Williams plays an out of work actor estranged from his wife who pretends to be an elderly British nanny in order spend more time with his children as their sitter.

And along with thick glasses, a mumsy wig and orthopedic shoes, Mrs Doubtfire wears a floral ensemble that rivaled that of the pregnant reality star.
The 32-year-old star sported a garish floral gown over her blossoming baby bump, which she teamed with matching gloves and heels on the New York red carpet.

Meanwhile designer Riccardo Tisci defended the look to WWD, saying,  'I think she looked amazing. She was the most beautiful pregnant woman I dressed in my career.'
He is friends with Kanye and chose the look for the expecting star because, 'when you celebrate something, you give people flowers.'
And the look was all his idea.
'[She] said, "Ricky, I love what you're doing so much, I am in your hands."'
And the reality show star wasn't exactly shy about flashing the flash as she joined boyfriend Kanye West for one of fashion's biggest events.

The custom Givenchy gown designed by Tisci was made out of floral printed jersey with grommet details that attached the sleeves, turtleneck and gloves.
The dress was rather bizarrely teamed with strappy sandals which gave the ensemble an overly matched look.
Meanwhile, Kanye - the night's star performer - also wore Givenchy, but looked much more classy in a simple black suit and white shirt.
The couple are expecting their first baby in July.
