Shock discovery comes after 'mother' died following car park fall

THE lifeless bodies of three young children have been discovered at a home – after a woman believed to be their mother fell to her death from a multi-storey car park.
The woman, in her twenties, was found at 8.05am this monring with severe head injuries following the fall in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
Police are treating the deaths of the infants – aged three years, two and 11 months – as suspicious. Their bodies have been taken for post-mortem examinations.
Detective Superintendent John Brocklebank said: “We are in the early stages of a large investigation into what has happened.
"It is too early to be able to come up with a definitive explanation and we will be keeping an open mind.
"However from our initial enquiries we do not believe there is any threat to the wider community.
“Our priorities now are to establish the circumstances behind the woman’s death and how it may be related to the deaths of the three children."
A police spokesman said: "It is believed that they are the children of the deceased woman."
Ambulance and air ambulance rushed to the scene of the car park fall but were unable to save the woman.
Inquiries led police to an address in London Road South where the bodies of the three children were discovered.
