Iranian boffin invents time machine

President Ahmadinejad
Back to the future? ... how Iranian President Ahmadinejad might look if he travelled time

AN Iranian boffin claims to have invented a time machine which will enable him to see into the future.

Ali Razeghi, 27, says his machine can predict events eight years before they actually happen.
And he reckons his invention will allow the Iranian government to mirror the plot of sci-fi flick Back To The Future.
The film sees Michael J Fox play the role of Marty McFly who dashes through time in a speeding car.
To help readers picture the scene, The Sun have mocked up what Iranian President Ahmadinejad could look like if he successfully travels through time.
Back To The Future
Time travellers ... Iranian scientist hopes to ape the plot of Back To The Future and defy physics
Wacky scientist Ali has registered 'The Aryayek Time Traveling Machine' with Iran's state-operated Centre for Strategic Inventions.
The machine apparently works using a person's fingerprint, with a series of complicated mathematical calculations doing the rest.
And the scientist is optimistic his device, which he says is 98 per cent accurate, will be a success.
He said: "It will not take you into the future, it will bring the future to you.
"My invention easily fits into the size of a personal computer case and can predict details of the next five to eight years of the life of its users," he told the Fars state newsagency.
The invention isn't the only product to be patented by the wacky Tehran-based scientist, who has also created 179 other inventions during his short career.
Despite his happiness at designing the machine though, Ali says he has had a hard time from friends and been accused of trying to play God with his device.
President
Leader ... the President could have been given a helping hand in getting one over his American enemies thanks to the Iranian scientist
But the serial inventor says it will prove crucial to ensuring his country can get one over on their enemies.
He said: "The Americans are trying to make this invention by spending millions of dollars on it where I have already achieved it by a fraction of the cost."
Having launched his time machine, Ali now plans to roll out his invention for mass-production.
But the scientist is remaining tight-lipped about the details of the design for now - to ensure Chinese competitors don't pinch the idea.
He said: "The reason that we are not launching our prototype at this stage is that the Chinese will steal the idea and produce it in millions overnight."
