Pippa Middleton cosies up to boyfriend Nico Jackson as she dazzles in deceptively daring gown at London charity ball

As the future Queen of England, Duchess Catherine’s fashion choices usually fall on the conservative side. 
However, her younger sister Pippa Middleton has no such concerns and stepped out in London on Wednesday night in a deceptively daring dress. 
The 30-year-old columnist attended the Sugarplum Ball at One Mayfair with her stockbroker boyfriend Nico Jackson, 35, where she turned heads with her gown.

Pippa was the centre of attention in a dramatic floor-length black ensemble with intricate embroidery on the bodice.
Upon arrival she wore a black sparkly cropped jacket with long sleeves to keep out the chill, but soon removed it to show off her dress.
The mesh material appeared see-through at first but on closer inspection it looked as if a nude lining was underneath.
The outfit also featured a semi-sheer skirt which ran from mid-thigh to her feet.

The dress was slightly see-through in the back, however the high round neck was quite conservative.
Sparkling drop earrings and a black clutch bag were the only accessories Pippa needed.  
Her hair was pulled off her face in a rather old-fashioned upstyle, completely at odds with her risqué dress.
She finished off her look with a sparkly black clutch, with a metal detail opening.

Upcoming wedding? Although the couple have not yet announced an engagement, friends speculate it is only a matter of time

Meanwhile, Pippa’s boyfriend looked handsome in a tuxedo as he posed for photographs with his beautiful girlfriend. 
It was recently claimed that the couple are considering getting married in Scotland as Pippa has set her heart on a romantic ceremony in the Highlands.
Although the smitten couple, who have been dating since the beginning of this year, have not made an engagement announcement, members of their social circle are certain that there will be wedding bells in the not-too-distant future.

A source told the Mail On Sunday newspaper: 'A wedding in London would never compare to her sister Kate's of course.
'And the prospect of erecting a marquee at her parents' house in Bucklebury for a party after the wedding service would be too low-key for her tastes these days.'
Former Edinburgh University student Pippa and Nico, a dashing stockbroker, were seen laughing and giggling at the check-in desk before taking a low-cost flight from Inverness to London last month.

They were returning to the capital after a break in the Highlands which coincided with the end of the stag shooting season.
Another source added: 'There was some talk of Pippa hunting out suitable wedding venues on her next trip to Scotland.
'Nico loves the country too - he thinks it's beautiful - but when it comes to wedding planning he'll leave that to Pippa.

Meanwhile, the lovebirds were joined at the Sugarplum Ball by the cream of society.

Cara Delevingne’s sister Poppy stood out in a brightly coloured dress with her blonde hair loose over her shoulders. 

While the pink and orange dress was eye-catching, it rather drowned her slim frame.
The loose fitting dress ended at her knees in front and dipped down low in the back. She also sported an eye-catching leopard print fur coat over it as she made her way into the charity event.
