AN ex-lover of child-killing monster Mick Philpott yesterday revealed he tried to murder her in a frenzied knife attack — but spent just three years and two months in prison.

Kim Hill, 51, told of her ordeal as jobless benefits scrounger Philpott, wife Mairead, 32, and friend Paul Mosley were found guilty of killing six of his sleeping children in an arson blaze in Derby.

Kim — aged just 15 when Philpott bedded her — said: “That evil child-killing bastard stabbed me 27 times and spent hardly any time in jail. Now he should rot in hell.”
Philpott stabbed Kim in a jealous fury after she dumped him — breaking into her mum’s house in the middle of the night.

As he repeatedly plunged the knife into her stomach and chest, he snarled: “If I can’t have you, nobody can.”
When mum Shirley raced to rescue screaming Kim, Philpott stabbed her 11 times.
Yesterday a Nottingham Crown Court jury found Philpott, 56, his wife and Mosley guilty of manslaughter.

They all face jail and will be sentenced tomorrow.
The blaze was part of a plan by Philpott, a dad of 17, to frame a former mistress who walked out on him.
The ex-squaddie hoped to win custody of the children he had with her so he could pocket their welfare payments.

WICKED Mick Philpott asked for money from a funeral fund for the six children he killed in an arson blaze to be given to him — in Argos vouchers.
Jobless Philpott, 56, stunned police by demanding any “left over” cash from the fund set up by horrified locals.
The grasping ex-squaddie — who had made his wife and his lover regularly hand over their wages and benefits handouts — also suggested that dozens of teddies left at a shrine to the children should be auctioned so he could pocket the money.
There was uproar in court yesterday as a jury found Philpott, wife Mairead, 32, and friend Paul Mosley guilty of manslaughter for starting the blaze that killed the children as they slept.
Philpott, a dad of 17, theatrically crossed himself and kissed a St Christopher round his neck six times — once for each of his dead children.

Mick and Mairead Philpott press conference
Crocodile tears ... cop Steve Cotterill suspected killer Philpotts during press conference
Mr Cotterill said the case had been the most upsetting he had known in 30 years.
He added: “It’s almost beyond belief a mum and dad would set a fire with petrol at the foot of the stairs with six of their kids asleep in their beds.”
During the Nottingham Crown Court trial, Philpott portrayed himself as a caring dad who loved both Mairead and 29-year-old Lisa.
But it was revealed he beat both women if they disobeyed the “iron rules” with which he ran the house. And his fury with Lisa was as much about losing control over her as losing the money.
