A car mechanic and Only Fools and Horses fan is celebrating banking a massive £107,932,603.20 EuroMillions jackpot after telling his father 'this time tomorrow, I will be a millionaire.'
Neil Trotter, 41, from Coulsdon in Surrey, was so confident he’d win a prize he’d told his father and staff at his office last Friday lunchtime that he would be retiring  - before he even scooped the prize.
Mr Trotter bought £10 worth of Lucky Dip tickets on Friday after getting a 'funny feeling' that he had to play while on the drive to work.
Later that evening, he discovered that he had matched five numbers and two Lucky Stars in the EuroMillions draw.
He and partner of eight years Nicky Ottaway revealed today that they celebrated their win with two bottles of Budweiser beer on Friday night, before they spent a restless night excitedly contemplating how their lives would change.

He said: 'I’ve always thought I’d win big and I’d had a good feeling all week.
'On Friday evening we were sitting at home when I checked the time and thought the draw must have taken place by now. I took out my ticket to check the winning numbers and amazingly one by one they matched.

'I told Nicky, my partner, “I’ve done it, I’ve won the lottery, I've won the lot”. But she told me to shut up and to stop being an idiot. '

'I told Nicky, my partner, “I’ve done it, I’ve won the lottery, I've won the lot”. But she told me to shut up and to stop being an idiot. '
'Apparently I turned white as a sheet and couldn’t sit still, I kept walking round the house – I didn’t know what to do with myself.
'I got her to check the numbers with me and she started screaming.
'Next we called my dad but he said I was being an idiot too and that I should stop drinking, but I hadn’t had a drop.
'Even when we jumped in the car and drove round, it took him a while to realise we were serious.  My dad’s not often lost for words but he was on Friday night.'
Mr Trotter said he inally headed for bed around 3am but had a restless night before calling Camelot first thing.
He is a self-confessed motor racing fanatic and has enjoyed taking part for many years in Hot Rod racing followed by Stock Hatch racing.

Most recently he took part in the BMW Compact Cup as a newcomer last summer and finished in sixth place.  Now he plans to hang up his car mechanic overalls and follow his passion for British touring car racing.
Mr Trotter, who runs his own repair garage in Mitcham called Chameleon Coachworks, explained, 'I have I worked my last shift on Friday repairing and spraying other people’s cars.
'I think it would be rude not to retire. I couldn't go and do it now. I have been doing it for 15 years and it is really hard graft.
He added: 'I have a few phone calls to make to let people down but this is my time now. I’m taking time off and going to really enjoy following the British Touring Car Championships.
'It’s my passion and I wouldn’t mind a guest driver slot if I can find the right car.  I was building one up until last week but I’m thinking of taking a rest from that too.'
As a massive car fan it’s no surprise that purchasing a new car is high on the list.
Mr Trotter said he is keen to replace his 'old banger', adding: 'I drive a Ford Focus at the moment. It’s always been reliable but the steering wheel is black from oil off my hands and it’s time for an upgrade.'

He added: 'There are a lot of stunning cars out there – I’m going to need a lot of garage space at the new house.
'I would love to own a Hyper car – that would be amazing. Something like the McLaren although I’m not sure how easy they are to get hold of.'
First on the shopping list is a new home, and it needs to include stables and of course those garages for his partner.
Miss Ottaway, who until she resigned this morning - just half an hour before she joined her partner to address a press conference - was an accounts assistant, has a love of horse riding and would love to buy a new horse or even two, plus a horse trailer.

Describing the moment she asked inquired about a high end handbag, she said: 'I asked the sales guy how much it was. He said £11,000 but he had already turned his back and had already walked away from us.'
'I hope he is regretting it now.'
Mr Trotter said he is aware that some people may joke about his surname and becoming a millionaire.

THE SURREY MECHANIC WHO IS NOW WORTH MORE THAN BOWIE

His huge win means he is worth more than celebrities such as George Michael and Robbie Williams (who both have £105million) and David Bowie (£100million), according to the latest Sunday Times Rich List.
He is also worth more than movie power couple Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter (£80m), Sharon and Ozzie Osbourne, (£100m) and Rolling Stone Charlie Watts (£90m).
The win also puts him above motor racing mogul Eddie Irvine, who invested his Formula One earnings into an international property portfolio and is worth £83m.
He said: 'Me and my Dad thought we’d heard all the Only Fools and Horses jokes but I can see this is going to run and run. Still, being Trotters we were always going to be millionaires one day.'
The massive win on Friday gives him Britain’s fourth biggest National Lottery scoop – and catapults him straight into the world of the mega-wealthy.
The winner, from Coulsdon, Surrey, is taking home £107,932,603.20, making him the 745th wealthiest person in the UK.
It also means he is worth more than celebrities such as George Michael and Robbie Williams (who both have £105million) and David Bowie (£100million), according to the latest Sunday Times Rich List.
He used numbers 6, 24, 25, 27 and 30 and lucky stars 5 and 9 to become the first Briton to win the EuroMillions jackpot this year.
He joins an elite club of British Lottery winners who have each banked more than £100million.
Top of the rich list are Colin and Chris Weir, from Largs in Ayrshire, who won £161million on EuroMillions in July 2011.
But winning more than £148million in August 2012 created difficulties for Adrian and Gillian Bayford, from Haverhill in Suffolk. They split up months later.
The third biggest British winner scooped £113million in October 2010, but decided not to go public.

Now, what to do with all that cash...

Seven years on Necker, Richard Branson's private island

Set in the Caribbean, Richard Branson's holiday home Necker Island is a by-word for luxury and has played host to a vast array of A-list celebrities and royalty.
The 74-acre paradise was severely damaged in a 2011 fire that devastated the island's Great House, but its extensive restructure is almost complete and is available for exclusive hire once again - for a staggering £40,000 per night.

If Mr Trotter wanted to live in the lap of luxury, he could hire the island and live in the Caribbean paradise all alone.
But even his staggering win would only buy him a relatively modest amount of time in paradise - seven years to be exact.

Thirteen private jets

Why fly first class when you can afford a fleet of your own private jets?
Even premier class doesn't cut the mustard when you've got £108 million burning a hole in your pocket - and at £8million each Mr Trotter can afford thirteen of the very best in town.
Learjet are the market leaders and we think their 60xr model would be the sensible choice.
With a range of 2,405 nautical miles it shoud be easily capable of taking then and three passengers wherever they want to go.
The cabin is decked out with leather and walnut veneer.

Three Sunseeker Superyachts

If a life on the ocean waves appeals then the winner could get hold of the latest Sunseeker catalogue and order three of the Dorset company's brand new 155 model.
At a cool £32million each it would certainly take a large chunk out of their new found fortune.
But boasting five bedrooms, enabling then to host up to 10 guests at once, the four-deck yacht also has space for 11 members of staff.

Other perks include a nightclub, day room, 'beach club' and a panoramic viewing platform - which could allow guests a perfect view of the Monaco Grand Prix.
The yacht is 155ft long and weighs a total of 200 tonnes, with a maximum speed of 22 knots (25mph), and can travel 4,000 nautical miles in a single journey.
Filling up the boat's 60,000-litre engine with diesel will cost £30,000 every time.

21 flats at One Hyde Park

It is the most expensive block of flats in the world with entry level apartments starting at £5million
Neighbours include billionaire residents developer Christian Candy, who owns two properties at One Hyde Park.
The property tycoon, who built the apartments with his brother Nick, owns two separate flats worth £31m and £26.2m on the 10th floor.

Two other apartments were sold for a combined £136 million to Ukrainian mining tycoon Rinat Akhmetov, who is thought to be investing a further £50 million to knock the properties together and refit them.
If the upkeep on his 21 apartments became a little too  much to bear - he could perhaps trade them in for the penthouse, going for an eyewatering £65million.

360 Rolls Royce Phantoms or 180 custom made Bugatti Veyrons

Lottery winners and Rolls Royce are the perfect match and a top of the range Phantom model is easily within budget at £300,000.
The Phantom is a classic choice for the super rich, and they are all assembled by hand at the Rolls-Royce factory in Goodwood, West Sussex.

A-list celebrities David Beckham, Simon Cowell, Jennifer Lopez, Sylvester Stallone and Eddie Murphy have all been spotted riding in the car.
It is also a favourite of the royal family and heads of state worldwide – an earlier version of the Phantom was presented to the Queen as a gift on her Silver Jubilee.
However, if he fancies something slightly more flashy  - he could always have a Bugatti Veyron custom made to his specifications.
Reaching speeds of 260 miles an hour and with an excess of 1000 horsepower, the Bugatti Veyron is made for speed lovers.

36,000 of the World's Most Expensive burgers

He could feed the population of his hometown of Coulsdon, Surrey, on the very finest, and most expensive, burgers known to man - the FleurBurger 5000, at Fleur de Lys in Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada, which cost a whopping £3,000 each.

With his win, he could snap up 35,977 of the posh burgers and feed his town's 24,000 strong population - with plenty left over for seconds.
