He may be the new love of murdered soldier Lee Rigby's widow, but it has now been revealed that Drummer David George has abandoned his own wife and child to be with her.
After Lee was hacked to death by Islamist militants in Woolwich last year his widow, Rebecca, 31, turned to her friend Emma Kirkwood, 26, for a shoulder to cry on.
But within weeks Rebecca had started a relationship with Emma's husband, 23-year-old David, a former colleague of Lee who played Last Post at his funeral, and David has now left her and their 15-month-old daughter Lilly Mae in order to be with Rebecca.

At the time of Lee's death Rebecca and him had been living apart, but were still married and had a son together, so Emma says she felt a 'huge sympathy' for Rebecca and was only too happy to console her.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, she said: 'Around three months after Lee’s murder, Rebecca came to Cyprus where David and I were based.
'Rebecca broke down and poured her heart out. She said she loved Lee and that they had been about to get back together.'
Within weeks Emma was back in the UK, only to find that David was ignoring her, and not responding to her texts or calls.
However David was already married to Rebecca's friend Emma Kirkwood. He has now left her and their 15-month-old daughter Lilly Mae in order to start his new life

Then she learned that he was staying at a friend's house on the same street as her, and that Rebecca happened to be staying there as well.
For the next few weeks he swung between extremes, saying he loved her and wanted to be with her one minute, and then blanking her the next.
Eventually the family had a crisis meeting in which Emma confronted David about his relationship with Rebecca, but he denied it. Emma took her daughter and left, and they haven't seen David since.
Last week a photograph showing David and Rebecca shopping together in Halifax appeared in the papers, confirming what Emma knew to be true, but even then David refused to acknowledge the relationship, saying they had been buying a present for Lilly Mae together.
Incredibly it is not the first time David has left his wife in order to start another life. He was already married when he met Emma in 2009 and had a son, though he lied about it at the time.

Emma only discovered the truth months later when the two had started a sexual relationship. She also discovered that David was not 21, as he had claimed, but was in fact just 18.
She added: ‘It bothered me that he never saw his son, unless he did it behind my back.
'His first wife will be laughing at me now, thinking I deserve this, but if I’d known he was married in the first place, he’d never have got near me.
'He’s a stranger to the truth. He’s lied to me all through our time together, but he’s not very good at it and I catch him out, which makes him angry.'
Lee, 25, was murdered in Woolwich in May by Islamic fanatics Michael Adebolajo, 28, and Michael Adebowale, 22, who will be sentenced later this month.
