The kitsch appeal of Kim Kardashian has hit the avant-garde fashion world over the last year, and now the reality star counts some of the most legendary sartorial names as her friends.
And so it's no surprise to see Kim, 33, hanging out with legendary fashion designer Azzedine Alaia and Tunisian-model Afef Jnifen, as he walked them through his exhibition at the Palais Galliera, Museum of Fashion.
The mother-of-one opted for a covered up style, wearing a white cropped jacket to stand out against the dark canvas of her all black outfit.

Azzedine is known for his independent attitude in fashion, refusing to sacrifice his sartorial integrity to make a quick buck or get his name out there, which is why his friendship with Ms Kardashian is rather surprising.
However, he has dressed some of the most influential women in the world including Michelle Obama, Madonna, Carine Roitfeld, not to mention getting a name check by Cher Horowitz in Clueless.
It was a welcome distraction from the harsh comments aimed at Kim's seven-month old daughter North by Fashion Police! host Joan Rivers, who said during a stand-up comedy routine:

Fond friends: Kim counts a number of sartorial leaders amongst her pals since hooking up with Kanye West
In the past, Kim has had to defend herself over the mass-view that she had used hair removal techniques to neaten up her daughters brows on Twitter: 'Its pretty sick for people to insinuate that I would wax my daughters eyebrows. They are thick, natural and amazing!’
Alaia wasn't the only trendsetter Kim has been hanging out with in Paris, as she spent the evening with Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani on her 64th birthday, Monday night.
She was joined by her fiancé Kanye West for the celebrations, and the two have been trying to find a location for their upcoming nuptials, in-between shopping trips.
The couple are reportedly hoping to host a summer wedding, and have their sights set on the Palace of Versailles.

The couple are said to have made a private visit to the Palace of Versailles as they attempt to find the perfect venue for their big day.
Kim has only revealed that the wedding will take place 'abroad this year', but is already prepping her body for the big day.
Working hard: Kim's trainer says that she has one of the most covetable figures because puts in a lot of hard work
Royal prospects: The couple have reportedly got their sights set on the Palace of Versailles as their wedding venue
'Kim never says "This is hard." Failure's not an option. Sometimes Kim sees me six times a week, but outside of the gym she's making the right choices.'
Other venues the pair have reportedly looked at include the Trianon Palace Hotel in Versailles, located 20 kilometres outside of Paris.

Special dinner: Azzedine hosted the dinner attended by director Pedro Almodovar and Tunisian model Afef Jnifen
The City of Light is a favourite spot for the rapper, who hopes to move his family across the pond as soon as possible.
He is often seen with celebrated designers and fashion editors when in the French capital, surrounding himself with those people known for their independent creativity.
'As a celebrity, I have an opportunity to make a living at being the spokesperson for the third or fourth rendition of a thought - promoting something that has already been proven,' Kanye told Interview magazine.
'The problem is that I like to be the inventor - I'm the person who works on the concept, who invents new thoughts, who brings new ideas into the universe.'
That's a cake: Kim, Kanye and Azzedine helped Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani celebrate her birthday on Monday
