What a difference a year makes! Christina Aguilera is a svelte shadow of her former self as she poses in revealing white gown at AMA awards

By Daily Mail Reporter
What a difference a year makes.
Christina Aguilera dropped jaws in a curve-hugging white dress at the 2013 American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The 32-year-old singer looked significantly trimmer in the gown than her appearance at the awards show the year before.

Her white floor-length gown revealed her tanned and toned legs with a thigh-high slit, while diamond shaped side cutouts showed off her taught midsection.
The long-sleeve frock also bared her ample cleavage with it's extremely low-cut V-neck.
The sultry singer paired her outfit with crystal encrusted open-toed heels, a silver clutch and large diamond drop earrings.

She wore her platinum locks parted to the side and lightly curled.
Invoking Old Hollywood glamour, the Beautiful crooner painted her lips red and lined her eyes in black.
The outfit was a complete 180 from the 2012 AMAs, where her more voluptuous frame was covered in a multi-hued purple chiffon dress.

Later in the evening, Christina swapped her white gown for an understated black dress to sing the ballad Say Something with the indie band A Great Big World.
The bombshell pulled her hair back and toned down her makeup for the emotional performance.
Christina, whose weight has yo-yoed over the years, has recently been showing off her slender figure on The Voice.

The show's only female judge rocked fishnets and bedazzled knickers during a performance this week.
She was joined on stage for a Michael and Janet Jackson tribute by her remaining team members, Matthew Schuler and 16-year-old Jacquie Lee.
All eyes were on Christina though as she outperformed -- and sang -- Matthew and Jacquie.

The other judges gave the Genie in a Bottle singer and her team a standing ovation.
Host Carson Daly later said it was 'the best team performance we've ever had on this show.'
'Agreed,' Adam said loudly.
