Jobless mother-of-11 who has never worked gets a £500,000 luxury eco-home in the country built just for her (funded by the taxpayer)

  • .'Benefits mother' set to be handed the keys to six-bedroom 'eco home'
  • .Currently lives in two houses which have been knocked together
  • .Said to be just weeks away from the move into her new custom built home
  • Heather Frost's own relatives have slammed decision to give her property

These are the first pictures of a £500,000 eco-home that has been specially built for a jobless mother of 11 courtesy of the taxpayer.
Heather Frost, 37, dubbed the 'Benefits Queen' because she has never worked in her life, is just weeks away from moving into the six-bedroom house - and photographs of the impressive property have prompted even a member of her own family to criticise the decision to hand her the keys.
She provoked a public outcry earlier this year when it was revealed she was being given the home near Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire after complaining about her current 'nightmare' living arrangements with her massive brood.

An anonymous relative spoke out today as the first images from inside the Tewkesbury house emerged.

'You’d have to work all your life to get a house like that and she is walking in, it’s not fair,' said the family member.
'People work their hardest all their lives for houses worth that much and now she can just swan in and get it straight away.
'If you look at all other council houses people are put into they are nothing in comparison to that.
'I know it’s her fault for having so many children, and she knew what she was doing, but now she can’t work because she has to look after them.
'Of course I think she should work but she can’t now, the damage is already done. The only thing I hope is that when she does go in it they inspect it to make sure she doesn’t cause any damage.'
She and her family currently live in two houses in Churchdown, Gloucestershire, which have been knocked through to make one home.
The idyllic rural home which Ms Frost is set to get the keys to has been described as an eco-mansion designed to reduce energy and water consumption and let in as much natural light as possible.
It had previously been valued at around £400,000, but local estate agents have estimated the value to be nearer £500,000.
The Express reports that the 1,850 sq ft modern, det ached property has three bathrooms, a large open plan kitchen-diner and two lounges which are fitted with French windows.

There is said to be a large garden backing on to open farmland in picturesque Gloucestershire. The dream home was built to specification.
Tewkesbury Borough Council came up with the idea for the eco-house after selling a plot of land in the town to Severn Vale Housing association for a discounted price of £210,000.
The condition of the sale was that one of 15 homes they were building on the site would be given to Ms Frost and her family.
Neighbours living close to the family's new home have set up a petition to keep them away for their area.
Frost’s relative today blamed Severn Vale for agreeing to the sale.
He said: 'The house they’re in at the moment is unsafe. In the downstairs there is an arch way between the two living rooms, so you can see the kids in each room, but you can’t in the bedroom.
'When they split at night to go to bed some go up to one house and some go up to another.
'But they could have moved her anywhere in this country, into a bigger house, why did they need to build her a brand new house? They didn’t at all.
'The house that has been built, specially for her, she never asked for her house, all she asked for was a bigger, safer house.'
It is thought only nine of Frost’s 11 children will be making the move at the end of July, with two moving out to live with their partners.
A builder working on the site said: 'It’s basically two semi-detached houses knocked into one.
'We haven’t had any specific requests as to how it should be fitted out, it is the same as all the others but just bigger.'
A neighbour, who moved into a new property on the estate just a week ago, said: 'I know who is moving in but I don’t care at the moment.
'I guess there is a risk when any new person moves into the area. So we will have to wait and see what it is like.'
Frost first fell pregnant at just 14, to a 23-year-old boyfriend who ended up in prison. She had her second child, Toby, with a different father when she was 17.
Her brood includes Sophie Frost, 21, Toby, 19, Angel, 16, Jay, 14, Chloe, 13, Paige, 12, Emily, ten, Bethany, nine, Ruby, seven, Daisy, six, and Tilly, three.
Frost, who was left sterile after a bout of cervical cancer in 2011, is already a grandmother as her eldest daughter Sophie, 22, has a son Ashley, two.
She declined to comment when approached at her current home in Gloucester today.

Sandi Ayres, who signed the petition told the paper she could not afford to have one child let alone 11.
Neighbour Jim Morrison added: 'I can’t believe she’s had the gall to go ahead with it – but that just shows how unfair the Government is towards people who work hard.'
When she was 14, Ms Frost fell pregnant with her first child, Sophie, and gave birth in July 1991. (Sophie, now 21, has a two-year-old son, Ashley).
Two years later, in August 1993, Ms Frost gave birth to a son, Toby. He is now 19, with a one-year-old son of his own, Tyler.

Three years after that, in October 1996, Heather’s 16-year-old daughter, Angel, was born.
In July 1998, Ms Frost gave birth to her second son, Jay, now 14.
Chloe, 13, arrived in February 2000. These five children all have their mother’s surname. A year later, in February 2001, Paige O’Reilly was born.

Ms Frost's five youngest daughters are all said to have the same father. Emily, 10, Bethany, eight, Ruby, seven, Daisy, five, and Tilly, three.
It is believed the mother of 11 - who is now unable to have children after she suffered cervical cancer  - pockets an estimated £30,000 in state handouts each year. The average UK wage is £26,500.
In the past she has admitted to owning a horse, which is kept at a local paddock, and even buying her partner flying lessons.
Matthew Sinclair, chief executive of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, said benefits should provide a safety net, and not be an alternative to work.
A spokesman for Tewkesbury council said: 'The council has a number of housing developments planned for the future, which will have a range of properties to meet the needs of families.'
