PRINCE Harry held a secret terror summit with MI6 spooks after fellow soldier Lee Rigby was hacked to death.
The Army captain — who has twice served on the Afghan frontline — paid a “private visit” to the spy HQ.
Harry’s trip follows the slaughter of Drummer Lee Rigby on a street in Woolwich, South East London. It also comes after Muslim convert Ashraf Islam, 30, admitted making a death threat against the prince.
Sources said Harry, 28, met MI6 agents at their offices at Vauxhall Cross, London.
In the meeting - which has been planned for several months - he was given a detailed briefing on terror threats posed to Brits abroad, security issues at home and current spying operations.
Troublespots including Iran, Syria and Mali all cropped up but Afghanistan was top of the agenda. A source said: “He was briefed on the jihadist threat. Harry described the death of Drummer Rigby as ‘truly shocking’ and ‘a tragedy’.”
Sources said he attended the meeting on Monday in his role as prince — not an Army officer.
